			<description><![CDATA[Many 3d software packages can use .3DS files, not just 3DSMax. Blender, C4D, Carrara - whatever you're using can probably import them.

No, AE cannot. AE is a video editor - MLCad and Leocad are 3d apps that use a specialized file type.
