It’s the Only One That Didn’t Let Me Down

Every other site? Either fake profiles, no response, or weird energy.
Then I tried Bedpage.

Found a verified provider.
She replied fast. Showed up on time.
Was respectful, professional, and exactly what she said she’d be.

No stress. No awkward surprises.
Just a calm, smooth experience — finally.

Now, Bedpage is the only place I trust.

Thank you for the compliments. All camera movements were filmed at 24 fps, while the characters, as you correctly guessed, were photographed at either 12 fps or 24 fps. In some cases, these frame rates alternate even for movements of varying speeds within a single take.

Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you regarding the remote-controlled camera. All I have is patience and a macro slide with a 0.5 mm scale. Here is a picture:

The amazing illusion created during scene transitions is achieved because:
- Camera angles remain the same
- Focal length remains the same
- Focus distance remains the same
- Movement intervals are the same
- All sets have an object at the same distance from the camera with a similar colour, so that a soft transition is not noticeable

One scene is entirely CGI, namely the jetpack flight with the circling camera. It was created using a 3D reconstruction of the minifigs and the background, therefor the texture and reflection quality is so realistic. But as a downside besides some keyframed translation of the minifigs is no motion possible:

Due to problems with the viewing angle and lighting, I had to make this one adjustment using an LCD screen:

Everything else was shot in camera only doing in some cases intensive wire removal and light flickering of the old crystal.

If you have specific questions about individual scenes, feel free to ask. I also took a lot of time-lapse shots while animating, which I will be posting on Youtube, TikTok, or Instagram in the coming weeks/months. So I invite you and everyone else to follow me there to get more behind-the-scenes glimpses.

The film itself was interesting, but I was mostly distracted by the quality of the camera motions (and the apparently variable framerate). I assume you have a motion control rig for the camera motions? It was quite impressive, and I rewatched several of the scene transitions as well. The lighting of the torch and gems was also very impressive (as was the lighting in general).

I'm curious, I know you do a lot of CGI LEGO, but I didn't notice any in this film (aside from the post-credit outro character). Was there any CGI LEGO in the film that I was unable to notice or was this (as I suspect) entirely in camera (except for VFX, presumably)?
