Yes the FXhome muzzle flares are 3D, but don't buy the program just get the demo (it last's forever) then get your clip in effectslab, add the effect and render it. But you'll have this giant logo in your clip so just mask the muzzle flare out with final cut express :)
Saves you 100$ !
... or you could not be a [expletive] who takes money out of the pockets of the underpaid and overworked programmers who wrote the software and do it legally by forking over the money. Geez, $100 isn't even all that much. Mow six lawns and you're done. Maybe a seventh for shipping.
100$ isn't much ? For me it is, and it's not illegal, you're allowed to use the FXhome demo, you're allowed to use Final Cut Express.. It's not a torrent or anything. 100% legal.
And for me that's 20 lawns actually.
And who say's they're so poor ? I don't have an idea but that program is succesfull, so i'm not so sure.

Oh and I checked it's 129 $ and I watched this promovideo, it's capable with Final Cut.

Well, Final Cut is an industry standard program, so I'd assume some of the major sites would be compatible. They only reason why they shouldn't be compatible is if they are not Mac compatible at all.

I believe so. I'm pretty sure videocopilot's packages are just extensive libraries of pre-keyed footage, and if that's the case, FCE's Luma Key is all you need to put them in. You would still need to find clips for all the proper angles, though. AE2 would be After Effects CS2, unless I miss my guess.
