Just on High Definition digital still cameras you usually can't turn flash off, and macro lenses cost a fortune here in Canada.[/quote]

But EVERYTHING is more expensive in Canada. ;)

Well when I went to buy a new camera I thought "well I'm obviously going to get the quickcam 9000 because that's the best one." But when I thought about it more, it all depends on what YOU want. I got a new digital camera instead of a webcam because I wanted a good camera I could talk on vacation, and I didn't have the money to get a webcam and a digital camera. So if you are getting serious with movie making and you want something that you will just use for movies definitely get a webcam, but if you want something that you can carry around with you, obviously get a digital. Hope I helped! :)

What should i pick for a camera? I no webcams the disadvantage is you need to have your film sets next to ur computer. But they also are easier to use than an SD card supporrted Digital Camera, also, they don't need batteries.

And my Digital Cam has a flicker regardless of how i use my lights.
