I don't use Ebay... Back when I was addicted to card games there were these 3 cards, if you had them you win hands down. I found all 3 bundled plus 25 random cards for $50 dollars so I bought it. I got it two weeks later to reveal nothing at all

Yes but i'm willing to pay up to £50 for one maybe more and it was only £17 at the time. I really need to sort it out though.

If thats the actual advert, then I can see no problem in buying it. He has described it as working. If its not you can sue him if it doesn't work as it is not described correctly. You will need batteries and also a memory card. The reason its so cheap is because it has no memory card. The lens is included, it pops out of the cover when you switch it on. You might need to spend another $30 on a memory card.

Now the down side. I own a A85 camera which is similar in design and I can find no way to get any live view out of it at high enough resolution. This means you cant use onionskinning or other software features. You work blind, taking the frame then looking at what you have got. Some animators work this way to get good quality animations, but it is not the easiest way to work. Webcams give live view (QC9000) and make animation timing much simpler. I am not impressed with the colour of the images from my A85, so if this uses similar chips, dont expect fantastic quality. My logitech QC9000 produces much crisper images.

In conclusion, unless you actually want a camera for holiday snaps, use a webcam instead for animating, otherwise you will be constantly fiddling with your camera setup and not actually animating.

Guys, look at the ebay page. Realmotion misworded it, it is an entire camera for sale. But for that price I'm guessing there must be some catch. Personally I wouldn't want to buy a camera used because there's no knowing how many pictures it has taken, and the sensors wear out over time, especially on relatively cheap cameras like the Powershot A series. But at a cheap price, you're not losing much.

Woah, woah, don't buy it.
If you bought just the case, you would have to buy all the little inner goodies seperate (lens, circuit boards), which are the things that actually determine the price of the camera. I'm not even sure if you can buy the circuitry for a Powershot, but I have a hunch it would end up costing you more than if you bought the entire camera, especially if you were to factor in the time for assembly and risk involved. Buy a whole camera. Putting one together yourself may seem economically appealing, but it will no doubt end badly.
EDIT: Oh, you posted that link while I was typing. I'll look into it.

$7 (That includes shipping)
But the guy has a good review, and he has a three day refund.
There is about three other powershot cameras around the same price on ebay.
The cameras on Amazon are More expensive.
Why would it be useless for brickfilming, though?
I can show you guys the link so that you could help.

Really, I would not even CONSIDER buying a camera from Ebay.

It would be safer to buy the entire thing from Amazon.

And just the camera would be USELESS for brickfilming.

(how much money would it be if you bought this from Ebay?)
