well i have a dark closet and lamps diffused by paper aswell, i use the quickcam 9000 and have all the settings on manual. i usually never get light flicker when using this set-up, but one day i was getting tons of it and i had no idea what was causing the annoying flicker, i had the black shirt, no outside light WHATSOEVER, everything was perfect. then i realized...my dad was using a power drill downstairs and everytime he would turn it on or off: LIGHT FLICKER!! the power drill was sucking up a lot of power from the house making a barely noticeable change in the lighting so, if you try everything else and nothing works, maybe there is a some energy zapping something being used in your house...

As seen in my older videos....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ByFIW2ZmtQ

The lighting keeps changing in the background which makes it distracting.

I use a dark closet with lamps covered with paper. Is it the lights, or the camera.

I have this camera.
