Awesome film!
The dialogue was really nicely done. The acting was also nice.
It was quite funny, the video; especially the part with him going up the escalator.

Great job! :D

I love this movie. You guys should totally be famous on YouTube! :D

Also, I'm kind of glad it didn't show too much of Nightcide in the beginning, so then it was more of a shock when we saw him for the first time coming up the escalator in the airport, like "That's him? That's the scary villain??". I also cracked up when they mentioned the superhero "Captain Amazing" who keeps foiling Nightcide's evil plans. Classic superhero name! XD

But overall cute film, good story too. Nice work, Dave! ;)

Hey Dave!

That was most enjoyable, and very well done. Let me see.
The opening scene was pretty cool, I loved the pictures of the city at night. At first, I thought this was going to be a seriously meant villain-film. Fortunately, it was not. ;)
I liked how the story turned out, the sequence in the airport was nicely done. Although I would've wished a bit more surprising ending, this was overall a very entertaining short.

Good job, man!

The reason I mention it is that I'm currently writing my own script and am finding it difficult to get dialogue that works. The words seemed right for the characters and the situations in this... It seems like an normal thing but I find it hard to get right!

Wow. That was really good. Kudos for actually going out and shooting in public - I know it's nearly always a necessity - but I'm usually scared I won't be able to get everything done in time. How long did it take to shoot that scene in the airport? Any trouble shooting in that location? I really liked the dialogue, it sounded like real film dialogue which (I think, anyway) is really hard to do. The actors were really good and the lines seemed very natural coming from them. I'd love to see the story continued with a drunk bum picking up the suit and becoming Nightcider.

Thanks, man!!

Yeah, the shaky cam is a bit of a long story, haha! Originally I was planing on shooting a lot of nighttime shots with Darwin (my actor) in the city, running around. The only problem, though, is that my equipment checkout time had changed, and I didn't have the DVX100 at night. I looked through all of my footage on my own camera, and saw some stock footage I had taken one night in Februrary from the roof of the Hilton hotel in Savannah. So, instead of renting out more equipment the next weekend and messing up my editing schedule, I just used the footage I took and shot a few things with Darwin on my own camera.

But yeah, thanks for watching! Spread the word!

Nice job, only complaint would be the shaky cam in the beginning, or did you want that?

Hey folks!

So I just got finished with my final for Intro to Film/Video, and I thought I'd post it here. The quality is (as of now) kinda crap, but I think it'll get better over time.

Hope you like it! Let me know what you think!
