Great little short for its time.

While I didn't really make comment in these brickfilm of the week threads, I always came by to check out the classic brick films. Why are is it coming to an end?

Really really enjoyed these!

Man, Zach sounded quite a bit different back then than he does now. I didn't think The End was all that great, though the idea is pretty original and was executed well, especially considering it was a THAC film.

I'm also disappointed to see the end of the Brickfilm of the Week series. Being a bit of a rookie Brickfilmer, I had only seen a couple of the classics that were featured, but now I feel a little more integrated into the community now that I understand some references. Is there any chance something like this will be done again in the future?

The End, such a fitting end for the end of the Brickfilm of the Week showcase. I've truly loved logging in at the end of every week to revisit a classic, or discover a brickfilm I wasn't familiar with. It's a bit sad to see it go, but, bittersweet as well - some brickfilms of the week seemed to spawn more discussion than others, and, it was certainly a bit frustrating to see a not-so-loved brickfilm be talked about a bunch, while a perhaps lesser known brickfilm that I may have liked receive less attention... but either way, I really loved it. :)

As for Graeme Allen's brickfilm - it's a simple, yet interesting little piece; a bit dated to its time now, with the reference to the Mac Vs PC commercials from nearly 10 years ago, but, overall, it is a nice little throwback! Nathan and Zach's voices certainly give the brickfilm a bit more "star power" and, it's nice. As soon as I heard their distinctive vocal patterns, thoughts of Beast, Hypothetical Possibilities, and The Day Brickfilms.com Crashed came to my head. Certainly funny things to think of, especially when watching "the end of the world!"

The final Brickfilm of the Week is (fittingly) The End by Graeme Allen.

The End is a 2006 brickfilm by Graeme Allen. It follows the story of two guys who are waiting around after the end of the world.

Graeme Allen was a member of Brickfilms.com and is a member of Bricks in Motion. He is also known for Lonesome Heroes, Just Push Play, and contributing to The Day Brickfilms.com Crashed.

What are your thoughts on The End? What did you like about it? Did you have a favorite moment?

And with that, the year-long series Brickfilm of the Week comes to an end. Thank you so much to everyone who has commented on the series, and a big thanks to Smeagol and sillypenta for filling in on certain weeks when I was busy. I've decided to not continue Brickfilm of the Week for 2016. It's had a good run, and we featured many awesome brickfilms. Woo! :D
