It's both a production choice and a style choice. I did not want to spend additional time on mouth animation (and the complications that come with lipsyncing) and I wanted to mimic the style of stop-motion brickfilms, i.e. 15 fps, slight jittery movements, minimal facial animation compensated by exaggerated movements, etc.

What in the post are you questioning? I guess you mean the motionless mouth thing? Well, yes, most Brickfilmers don't, but then most don't do CGI. I think in this case, being that everything is virtual, it would look good if they moved their mouths. I don't mean to sound uber critical, its only a minor thing, and it doesn't distract it from the rest of the film, which I enjoyed very much.

As opposed to (the majority of) stop-motion brickfilms?

Yeah, I think its pretty funny. I have to say though, I'm not really sure about the whole CGI Lego thing. The faces look a little motionless, but I think the animation was pretty good. I liked it.

Lol, quite humorous. While some of the voice quality could have been better, the animation was really good in my opinion. Over all I thought this was a good and funny inside-joke video.
