Actually, Nathan Wells's whole Bricks in Motion series was very helpful for me when I first started out animating. He's got some great tips on not only animation and walk cycles, but also set building, and aesthetics!

ALL of Nathan's tutorials are well-made, descriptive, and explained clearly! RECOMMENDED!

The walk cycle he demonstrates in that video is pretty much the standard for brickfilmers animating at 15 fps. Here's another good tutorial on walk cycles, going a bit more in depth on how to edit them for slower or faster walking:

Similarly, Doug Vandegrift's equally short Brickfilm School series has some great little tips as well. I'd recommend checking out both.

Here's a good walk cycle tutorial, it's done in 15fps, but of course, you always want to remember to slow down or speed up movements depending on the mood you want to convey in the film.

Hello all! I started with a faster frame rate, but it was too fast. It made the walking look like running. So could you post pictures of a walk sequence at 15 fps? Then I would have a walk sequence that looks right. Thank you! :)
