1.What frame rate are you using?
If so a five to 6 frame walk cycle would be pretty good, yours kinda looked blocky
2. Even incriments
Try to make your character move in even movements otherwise he looks like he is bouncing around.

Here is my test at a five frame walk cycle with an added rest frame in between: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eTkzz5MXQI

Watch out for corners. What your guy does here is arrive at the corner with his right leg out, brings it back to a standing position, then sticks it out again to take the corner. Doing that makes it look a little stuttery. Whenever I know there's going to be corner turning, I work out what leg my guy will be turning on, count back the number of studs to his start point, then make sure I start on the correct leg.

Also, even if it's a test of animation technique, try to fix your white balance and things like that, or people will comment on that instead of the animation.

I wanted to try out SMP, so I did this. I also wanted to try out my new desk design. I'll post a picture later.
Vimeo
Yes, I know there is light flicker. I didn't close my window all the way.
The camera quality is bad because it's stretched out by Vimeo. I think.
Feedback welcome.
