To kick things off, today I went to the Brickman Experience.
The Brickman is the nickname of one of twelve LEGO Certified Professionals (yes, that's a real job), Ryan McNaught.
It showcased three large roomfuls of lego masterpieces. The Colloseum, the Sydney Opera House, ta pirate ship, a helicopter called "Elvis" and the world's largest flower build of Lego bricks. One of my favourite was a classic toy robot that looked exactly like the ones in the shops. On the pirate ship, I spotted something interesting, a pirate suffering from seasickness. The vomit build was quite interesting, it was composed of two different type of bricks, the green icecream cream pieces being the puke in mid-air and green studs on the floor being the vomit on the floor. The was also an Emmet figure built out of lego (sounds familiar, ENDfilms?).
Here's the website if you want to see it: http://brickmanexperience.com.au . It'll come to Sydney in June.
I didn't take any photos...

Welcome to the conventions and exhibitions thread!
Tell us your thoughts about a convention you have been or going to go to and post pictures.
This thread is mostly for lego and animation but feel free to talk about toys, movies, TV, comics and games etc. So that means it doesn't have to be a lego convention.
If you have a question about Lego conventions then have a look at Mighty Wanderer's thread: http://www.bricksinmotion.com/forums/topic/13060/lego-conventions/
