I put it into a video editor, trimmed a few frames from the middle, and cape up with this: (In the video, the original plays first, and after the gap, there is the updated version).

Not much difference, but enough to add a bit more realism. ;)
Nice, that actually looks better. I think I'll use it.
I don't think he's saying take any out at the beginning. I think right in the middle, there is a slight pause where he hits the wall. That's the problem. Taking out the pause makes the movement seem faster, thus, more aggressive with more realistic physics.
Exactly.

Is this from a fight scene? The impact when the guy hits the wall seems a little... soft.
That's the critique I got from chat and I agree. I will try to improve on my throwing-man-against-wall animation in the future. Thanks! :)
Have you tried removing a frame or two from that sequence? That might sell the impact a bit more.
Hmm, I've tried removing some frames but I think I've done all I can to make the 2nd shot flow well with the 1st one. If I take any out at the beginning then the movement would look jumpy.

Is this from a fight scene? The impact when the guy hits the wall seems a little... soft. Otherwise I think it looks good. It's easy to be picky when its a short clip.
