As Rioforce said, I meant with the compression. The quality goes from great to horrible.
So after importing an AVI file and the program does its thing the quality just ended up going terribly wrong even tho the flickering was mostly gone.

I haven't had a chance to properly import raw frames as an image sequence as of yet so I can't comment there. I just did a quick run through and wanted to see how it worked.

Sincerely,
Divine.
It probably has to do with the compression of the rendered video. I prefer to import my raw frames as an image sequence (to do that, just import the first picture, and it will import the rest of the photos in the folder if they are named in a sequence), apply the effect, then export as an image sequence. (Go to Export>Image Sequence, and select JPG, Quality is good at about 95, from my tests). That way, you will not have to apply a compressor to the .AVI file when you export. You don't have to compress your video even if you do export as .AVI, it should export as Full Frames, Uncompressed .AVI, although those files can be fairly large, which is why I just use Image Sequences.
I don't compress anything until after I save the final edited video. I always keep the original, of course, but sometimes I make compressed versions for galleries that have a size limit on videos.
Funny thing is I used it Riofroce/Top Hat.

And the results did take out the flicker but my actual film lost a lot of quality. Don't know if this has happened to anyone else, also it doesn't accept all formats.
Define quality. Are you sure this happened in de-flickering, and not during editing or something else?

I have been having some problems with lighting flickering in my animations. I got some decent lamps, and fixed all of the settings I could find in my webcam software and animation software (Logitech Pro 9000 and Monkeyjam) but can't get the flickering to stop. I thought of what might be an easy solution to my problem, and that of hundreds of other brickfilmers out there: Is there any kind of de-flicker program, where you can just put in a clip to be processed, and BOOM! No more flickering? I would think such a program would be possible...
