Are there test lines for the narrators?
Sorry bout' that, I just updated the post.
Sent in an audition for the guard, but if you feel it fits a different character, let me know.
[s]Did you? I didn't get it. Can you maybe re-send it please?[/s]

EDIT: I did get the line, but there is something weird with your mic quality that makes it sound unnatural. Is there a way you could make it sound better?

Hey guys! I'm starting a new short film in order to test out my new HD camera. To learn about the story and junk, read this post.

So here are the voices I need.

The King Taken by Jay Silver

He is he ruler of the kingdom, and needs to sound ruler-ish.

Test line: "You know my daughter is being held prisoner by the evil wizard, right?"

The Knight Taken by PushoverProductions

He is the brave knight who saves the princess and slays the evil wizard. He needs to sound British, but not Monty-Python British. I'd kind of like a more serious tone.

Test line: "Fear not, I mean you no harm. I am merely here to save the princess."

The Guard Taken by Pritchard Studios or Carroll Films or Pushover Productions

He is one of the royal body guards. He only has one line, so I will just use the audition line.

Line: "(Grunts) I hate this job."

The Wizard Taken by Jay Silver

He is the evil wizard who is holding the princess captive. He has placed a curse on her that turns her into a frog. I don't care what his accent is, as long as he sounds evil.

Test line: "Who dares try to rescue the princess?"

The Princess Taken by Carroll Films

She is the maiden in distress. What more can I say?

Test line: "I’m stuck in this cursed frog body until someone kisses me."

The Dragon Taken by Jay Silver

The Dragon.... I would kind of like a Smaug-esque voice for this guy. Really deep and powerful.

Test line: "Umm, sorry, but I can’t let that happen."

Narrator1 Taken by PushoverProductions

He's the narrator. Monty-Python-ish wouldn't be a bad idea for this guy.

Test line: "DANG IT!! How can I start a good story if all of the decent kingdom names are taken?"

Narrator2 Taken by Pritchard Studios

He's the second narrator. He is the serious one, so normal accent and tone would be good.

Test line: "You call this garbage a “good story”?"

Thanks to anyone who auditions! Make sure to send your lines to mrpocketsballoons@gmail.com.
