I really like this film. It's actually one of my favorites to have come out of BRAWL this year. - And that's not an easy feat. To even produce a film in the same ballpark as Nathan Well's "Blinders" or Pritchard's "If Prison Bars Could Talk" is accomplishment enough. Having actually made me laugh out loud after watching - that's an even harder thing to do, especially with the saturation of comedies in the brickfilming community.

This film stands out right from the start, almost as if a metaphor for people like me - movie goers. I love films, and love to make them often, so, it's not surprising when others think of me as a couch potato sometimes. And, of course, the girlfriend is like any opposing force within out lives - sometimes urging us to do good, other times, urging us to get up off our rumps, and go out and do something. :P

From there on, the twists and turns keep you on your toes; the comedy never getting old. And, at the same time, the film stays fresh, not seeming as off the wall as something like "Photographic Developments," which, was also pretty good in itself - but, did have a lot of jokes fell flat, and, seemed a little too close to the style and timing of ForrestFire101.

No, Check Please manages to stay fresh and funny throughout. Seeing as I was a voice actor, and musician for the project (but had very little say in the editing of the project) it's really hard to catch me off guard. But, this film does. So many add lib-ed moments, average, but impressively fitting sets, and quirky timing makes this one of my favorite recent brickfilms. :)

Thanks for keeping things fresh, surprising me, and proving that good brickfilm comedies can still be made. :)

"But I like being a couch potato", Liked it a lot. Pretty funny I have to say and your animation is quite nice. You should probably work on those punches though.

Great job getting an entry in!

Here is the link to my BRAWL entry. This is my BRAWL 2014 Entry. - The story of a couch potato, and his story of redemption... Yes, there's a Rocky reference. ;)

See if you can spot all of the references to Pizza Please (my THAC 11 film), aside from the similar titles!
