The animation was great, but it was a bit slow. There were some set or camera bumps but they weren't too distracting. Overall I really enjoyed this film (and it made me laugh). :)

Haha! I was laughing through that one! I liked the humor of it and how the cook was so serious throughout the entire thing. I think the walk cycle added to the humor too. Great video. :)

As already mentioned, I think it would be good to bring your framerate up, as there are some parts, specifically when he is bashing the alien with the club, where it seemed to move a bit slow. Also, throughout the film there were a lot of set bumps, which take away from the overall enjoyment. However, the premise was strangely amusing, and the animation itself was very well done, I especially liked the part where he is throwing the alien parts in the pot. Overall, while it may have a couple flaws, this was a very enjoyable film.

Maybe you should experiment with 24fps or 30fps for an entire video without changing the way you animate, or else make larger increments between each frame. About the walk cycle, I actually liked the hopping look to it and felt it added to the comedy, but of course it wouldn't come across well if his legs were visible.

There were some nice smooth animation moves in there.

Just work on the light balance a bit more. Also, work on a walk cycle too :) I'll be uploading a walk cycle tutorial on Thursday if you want to check that out too.

I really like silly brickfilms like this one that bring to mind actually playing with Lego. It looks like you have animated everything quite well, but it all moves very slowly. What frame rate are you using? I think there is real promise in the animation if it just moved faster.
