			<description><![CDATA[What you need is a directional mic, it records only what it is pointing at. Thus eliminating unwanted sound elsewhere in the room. 

You can use Audacity which is free and it has a very good noise filter in it. But it can only do so much. You really need to get a decent mic (it doesn't have to be expensive just the right type)]]></description>
