I don't know anything about the Terminator theme, but I'd be surprised that Lego would make anything based on something this intense regarding the violence. Maybe you saw someone's MOC and mistakened [sic] it.
It wasn't someone's MOC, it was a retailer catalogue, like I said.

You'd be surprised about what LEGO will do as sets. I was surprised they went for Lord of the Rings (which was a smart move on their part), The Dark Knight Rises, and some of the BIONICLE books got pretty dark by about 2007. Terminator sets really doesn't surprise me.

What about the delayed Hunger Games sets? The licensing deal's been in production purgatory for a couple of years, but the sets should come out for the Mockingjay films.

And isn't there a minifig-scale Minecraft theme coming out too?

Exciting time to be a LEGO fan.

Maybe you saw someone's MOC and mistakened [sic] it. The retailer catalogs often list some advance box art as confidential and it's always my policy to not violate this contract. Sometimes pictures are advance pictures not marked and I share them as soon as I find out. Here's an example of a video I made before all these 2012 sets were released:

Here's one that I did for 2013:

One other thing that's cool pointing out about the Winter set is the use of white battle droid arm pieces to make bare tree branches.

Darn, I was going to make a thread about this. This toy shop in town where I'm quite friendly with the owners (no guesses why) got the catalog too, or something similar. They told me the theme exists but wouldn't let me see the pics... :(

Guess I'll just have to go make my own thread about the upcoming Terminator: Genesis sets. Now those I have seen, and the actual Arnie Terminator (first movie era) fig is such a perfect likeness. The Hunter-Killer set (based on a scene from Salvation) is so epic, sure to outshine Metalbeard's Sea Cow.

new Hey! Just got a retailer's catalog which shows a preview of an awesome new theme from The Lego Group: Chronicles of Narnia! The three sets I'm aware of (thought there may be more) are 81601: White Witch's Winter Forest, 81608: Castle Raid (A Prince Caspian Set) and 81609: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The artwork is marked as confidential, but there were images on the side not marked that I can describe, all seemingly based on the first set.

There is a Tumnus figure that don't look all that hot; hopefully it's in a prototype stage and will be modified before its release. There are a lot of white plant elements seen, a black lamppost, A non-Brick Built Aslan, and a doorway that looks like it's the wardrobe on the other side (the other side wasn't shown).

Way cool and a surprising introduction to what, hopefully, is a nice lineup.
