Well now I'm using an older version of blender and it is working better with the leocad bricks. When I used 2.70 and beveled the bricks they would get all messed up, but using 2.49 they are looking a whole lot better. I'll try to post a pic of what I have soon.
What's a good texture?
I suggest you set up a test file with only one or two bricks (makes rendering go quicker), and then play around with the materials and textures until you find something relatively realistic. Then, you can use those settings as a basis for your actual scene. Also, here's a nice tutorial using Blender 2.48a. You could use the settings here to help figure out a similar result in cycles.

Also, I find that frame to be very washed out (maybe because of having ambient occlusion too high?). And for the color of the scene, I'd suggest something a touch darker and more blue, with lighting to match the background sky.

And my final thought on the frame is that the vehicles are too uniform and colorful. Hope this helps a little. :)

I know you've heard this before, but textures. Textures will help a lot. At the moment, the buildings look like they're made of styrofoam. The windows also need to at least be a different colour, if not a different material.

Also, for a city scene like this, there are some things you'll want to add: optical effects, smog around the cars, smoke coming from the cars, and copious amounts of lens flare. That last one was a joke, btw. Only add lens flare if you're J.J. Abrams or Zack Snyder. Try looking up tutorials on YouTube on how to add all those things - start by looking for how to integrate CG elements into live-action footage, as it uses a lot of the same principles.

Hope this helps!
