Ok I just checked out "Homefront" and it's pretty good. I mean the animation could've been smoother, however the idea is really good and it's one of those brickfilms that successfully portraits a serious topic to the viewers.

It's gotta be Homefront, I really loved everything about that one. As a matter of fact I loved most of the BRAWL films, Jon (jstudios) made a fantastic entry too.

Also, its not really a brickfilm but I think a few brickfilmers have really come into their own, like Walter Benson and Chris W. I think the community as a whole is producing better quality films now then it was at the start of the year which is always very refreshing and exciting to be part of!
And I also liked Odoriferous, the sets are amazing:

:)
Homefront, very simple but very effective and in my opinion deserved to win BRAWL.
It really stinks that it lost, eh?

Well, just like BertL I haven't been active recently and I've missed a lot of brickfilms this year. However, I would like to add that Indus is indeed my favorite so far, I honestly liked it, the only thing I missed was more colorful "Nick Durron'ish" lighting style (if you've seen Jonathan's aka Nick's films you know what I mean) I think it would've added a final touch to make "Indus" completely epic.
