I really don't want to spoil anything for the film or put too many whole scenes in. Don't you find it annoying when someone has a trailer for a brickfilm and then when you watch the completed film there's still three minutes at the start which you've already watched in the trailer? :P

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
Thank you for doing that. Some people don't know how to make a good trailer without spoiling half the movie. Some of those people are even in Hollywood.
Haha! Yeah. I imagine in Hollywood they force you to keep adding things to your trailer until they think it will sell.

I found the trailer a bit... incoherent. To me, it rather seemed like a bunch of random, disconnected scenes strung together, and didn't give any hints as to what the plot might be (though for all I know that might be a good thing). That being said, the animation was excellent (especially the "conveyor belt"), and the final scene was very nicely done. The music/sound was great for the most part too, except for the drumbeat at the beginning which seemed somewhat out-of-place to me. Can't wait for the full film!

What editing program are you using? If it's Vegas, don't use the "Export to Youtube" option.
Just render the video like normal, then upload it using the YT uploader. That way you can compress it the way you want to, and cut uploading times by a lot.

Yep, that conveyor belt scene is fantastic. And I can't imagine the effort it took for those teeny-tiny movements at 0:08.
I think it works great without showing much off. You show a handful of probably randomly ordered clips, and then a longer scene that sets the tone, but doesn't really show anything of the plot.

It looks great, you've certainly put a lot of time and effort into this, and it shows. The overall look seems more unique than most films, and it doesn't fall into any category very well. (Horror, yes. But it doesn't have the overly processed look, or the old-school feel, or some other easily recognizable aesthetic, and just doesn't fit in anywhere in my mental organizer. Which gives it an edge and memorability that most films lack....For me at least.)

I just can't wait, this is sure to be great. :yes:

@LegoGuy501
The film itself is in much higher quality but when exporting I only have the option of uncompressed or low-res and since the uncompressed version apparently would take over 1000 minutes to upload to YouTube I decided to go for lower quality. :lol:
Can anyone suggest any fairly high def video formats that won't take a day to upload?

Thanks for the feedyback everyone!

Brilliant! I agree with jstudios, the conveyor belt was amazing. The cinematography appears to excellent and the animation is very smooth! I really cannot wait until you complete this, it's sure to be a masterpiece of LEGO animations!

I liked it. It was a bit confusing, but I'm sure it'll make more sense once it's all together. The animation was overall pretty good, as were the sets. However, sometimes the quality of the pictures wasn't very good, like they were too pixely. Also, what did you use to make the music? And are you making the music for the final product?

YouTube

BULB is a horror film I've been working on for quite some time. I've been animating it for 14 months. I have now almost finished animating so I thought I would make a trailer. Here it is :P I am hoping the main film to be out sometime around Christmas.

Animated at 15fps
