have you tried making sure there is enough lighting? I have found before that if the lighting is too dim the quality of the image is not as good. Try an extra lamp, it may work.

What software are you currently using?
I currently use SAM Animation.
oh yuck. Have you done a test with iStopmotion to make sure it fixes your problem. I would do this before buying it.
Thanks. I'll try that.

Do you have any specific examples of the issue that you could share?
I think the problem is my software. I'm switching to iStopMotion in a week or two.
There are a few things that could cause this issue:

A software setting that is reducing the sharpness.[/*]

If the lens on the camera is not fixed-aperture and it is being shot wide open, then this might also reduce sharpness. From the looks of it, however, your webcam is fixed. [/*]

A smudge on the lens. This hopefully isn't the case.[/*]

You may have just received a bad copy.[/*]
Ok, so I think I've identified the problem of my c910. The quality is just awesome, but there's always an extra layer of unnecessary fuzziness, which doesn't look good at all. I watch other brick films with the c910, and I see no fuzziness at all! I would be much more proud of my animations if the fuzziness was taken away.

Does anybody know of a way to fix it? Is it how I export the clip? The exposure, white balance, focus, etc? I'd like as much help as I can get. Thanks!! (I'll try to get an example picture up as soon as I can)
