The casting call thread in audio is up (has been up for about a week) So, you can go and "follow" that one, or audition :)

UPDATE: I am changing a few scenes (less then 30% of entire script) to add more action, as the story is a little too dialogue and drama heavy as we speak... This may change some of the line amounts, but not drastically. Other then that, a July release is looking good right now! :)

Soon, Login Productions, soon. :)

The script is FINISHED!!! So I will post an audio thread casting thingy soon. (I just have to check on who's already doing what)

The finished script is about 25 pages, so a 25 minute movie (excluding the credits and/or how long the action scenes take) So, probably just at 30 minutes :)

So far (having completed the first two "Acts" of the screenplay) I have 11 scenes over about 18 pages... So, between 20 and 40 minutes... A longer brickfilm, but not quite a feature-length movie... However, depending on how I decide to film things, this could end up (especially the ending action scene) at 70 minutes: an almost average for animated movies.

Alllllllllrighty then, it's time for an,
Update: The title has changed to "Expedition - The Dragon's Eye," as I've changed a few little things. I finished the script, and have tried to make it more similar to the 30's and 40's serials, (which was the inspiration for Indiana Jones) with my grandmother. (she grew up watching them in theaters)

In looking further into these movie serials, I discovered a certain series, that starred Johnny Weissmuller (better known for the role of Tarzan) in the character of "Jungle Jim." Aside from the actor's first name being Johnny, and his character having an unusual name (Jungle... Indiana... Thunder...?), I think that he may have been a partial inspiration for the character of Johnny Thunder.

Thus, I was thinking of doing something similar; having his name (the thunder part) be just like a "nickname." Thus, looking further into Johnny Thunder, I found that he was originally/sometimes called Sam Grant. Thus, the character in my series' name will officially be Johnny "Thunder" Grant. (His dad being referred to as Daniel Grant).

The other characters may have small name changes, or back-story edits, but without changing very much that the LEGO group originally created.

The characters will be:

Heroes -
Johnny "Thunder" Grant
Dr. Charles Kilroy
Pippin Reed
Harry Cane
Jing Lee
(and some other minor characters)

Villains -
Heinrich "Slyboots" Strober
Natalia Ulko (Alexia Sinister)
Baron Von Barron (Samuel Sinister)
Chang Wu
(minor characters here as well)

On the standpoint of story, I've finished up the outline and have nearly completed the final edits of the script... With one or two characters still needed to film, all should begin by February/March. :)

Thus, soon, I will start looking for voice actors... Filling in all missing characters with an audition thread in the audio forum later... (probably around March/April) So, if you'd like to voice a character, it'd best to audition now, as I will start filling in roles within this next month... (and when I put up a thread under audio, it may be for only smaller roles).

Thus, an update and some inside information on what's to be coming up soon. :)
PLEASE give any feedback on my changes/decisions.

UPDATE: I'm storyboarding and scriptwriting, and it's moving along at a fast pace... Thus, I don't really need help in that area...

As I am refining the script, I will soon post and Audition thread in the Audio Forum, though, with HighMountainStudios making a Johnny Thunder movie of his own, I'll let him get all of his voice actors before "intruding." (I don't want to steal his audience in that thread)

So, if you were thinking of voicing for me, go audition for him too... Experience can only help. :)
Cool! But don't wait too long, as story ideas can become ttenagers and eat all the food in the fridge and need to be set free at some point!
 True. But there are also some that just stick around and are impossible to get rid of (I have one I've been working on for 6 months, but the idea is about 3 years old).
