Get a either a Logitech c910 or c920 and buy an app off the Mac App Store called 'Webcam Settings'. This app will allow you to control all features on the webcam. Link: https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/webcam-settings/id533696630?mt=12
It works very well for me!

Oh, hey Adam! I'm leaving until Sunday night, but I can try to look at my computer then. I could have changed some settings but I really don't remember. When I get back I'll take some screenshots and see exactly how mine is doing it. Sorry I couldn't help before the weekend, since you were probably going to do some stuff then.
I still the ink it might be the camera, when I first first got it we tried two different camera that said worked with it; neither did. My moms new camera should work with it and if so I can see if it makes me press two.
I hope your films going well, see you in class Tuesday (I'm missing Thursdays)!

I use a camera not a webcam. When I take a picture it does not immediately show up in the timeline. I have to click the other red button next to it first. Yes it is istopmotion 2
Edit: my question is, is there a way to only have to press one button?
PS: It's adam for the film class :D Jorden! haha

Hey, someone else who uses iStopmotion! Did you just get iStopmotion, and if so, which version? I have iStopmotion 2 and have used it for about two years; I'm not quite sure what you mean.
I plug in the Logitech Quickcam Pro, select it, and then I just press the little round red button or the spacebar. Do you use a webcam or a camera? That could make a difference.

When I take a picture it immediately shows up in the timeline. After I'm done filming I just save it and close it out. Then the movie file shows up wherever I saved it at the start.

I wish there was the option to change your fps after or while you film it., just saying.
I'm not sure if this answered your question...let me know if it did or if you have any other questions.

Question. It looks like when taking pictures using the program and a camera you have to click two buttons, one to take the picture and then one to save it. Is this correct?
