I don't know which one can get closer-ups, but I do know that the c920 can focus within a couple of centimeters of a minifigure. Then you can use digital zoom to get closer (I don't recommend this though).
And no, they don't both have tripod mounts. Only the c920 does. However, I did see a video where someone added a nut to the base of the c910 to give it a tripod mount (they used glue to attach the nut, I think).
Hope this helps. :)

Which of the two can get closer to the minis while in focus? EDIT: I have a canon right now but the lens I have can only focus up to about 9inch away and 55mm.
Do they both have tripod mounts?

That's true...but you can still zoom in even further (digital zoom).
I have the c920, and think that it's great! Two things that I like more about the c910 (I seriously considered buying one) are that it has a 5mp sensor vs. the 3mp sensor in the c920. I also think that the c910 looks better, like what Pritchard said.

Also, for another reference, I believe ZachFB made his Gold Getaway with the c920 (I think).
Here's a link.
There's a raw picture of the video if you scroll down to post 15. You probably saw already, though. (you posted next)
Hope this helps a bit. :)

Thanks :) I had a look at the comparisons, and the C920 looks more suitable for what I need, especially that the price is lower :P One thing I would really like to see is a picture from someone who has one. Besides that, my questions have been pretty much answered :)

Go here, and scroll down until you reach the comparison chart.
When you're done looking at that, then ask any remaining questions. ;)

The C910s on Amazon are going up in price, and are in fact more expense than the superior C920s.
So if you can buy at Amazon.com, then go C920 hands down.

Basic rundown is as follows:
C910-10MP camera, 10-step focus, 720p streaming (The Cam is enhanced by software, with 5MP real res)
C920-15MP camera, 20-step focus, 1080p streaming (Can't find out if the cam stat is software enhanced or not.)

The C910 housing looks better IMHO, but that doesn't count for much. :P

I need a new camera for my stop motions, and thought that webcams would be cheaper than an actual camera. I can't seem to make my mind up between the C910 or the C920. I'm not sure which one would be better for my animations, and what their differences are. If anyone could tell me which would be better and why would be very greatly appreciated :) Thanks!
