			<description><![CDATA[As far as I know, you can't go straight from Bricksmith to Maya.  You have to use a converter.  So far, the only mainstream (and thus an active support community) 3D modelling program that supports Ldraw models (which I assume Bricksmith uses) is pre-2.5x versions of Blender.  From there, you can export to a format that Maya supports.

			<title><![CDATA[Maya models in Bricksmith?]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[I have Maya and Bricksmith, and I always wanted to be able to make a LEGO animation. I have tried making the models straight into Maya, and failed miserably, and I'm now wondering if I can get a Bricksmith model into Maya and animate it that way.

Anyone know if I can or can't?]]></description>
