You can also try Bricksafe to upload your LEGO-related photos (like your sig, if it is LEGO related). It's a really good alternative to Brickshelf (and doesn't have tons of outages like Brickshelf does).

An easy way to do this is to select share on Flickr and then select the BBCode option and select the image size you want, try not to use anything wider then 800 pixals on the forum.

[img]http://i.imgur.com/bc8Ow7F.png[/img]

if you copy the code from Flickr it will look like this:

[url=https://flic.kr/p/rUkgr8][img]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7653/17001136037_e1880744e1_m.jpg[/img][/url]
[url=https://flic.kr/p/rUkgr8]Scene 1 test animation[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/people/11965999@N05/]Chris 'Beard'[/url], on Flickr

If you don't want the description under the image just paste the code
[code][url=https://flic.kr/p/rUkgr8][img]https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7653/17001136037_e1880744e1_m.jpg[/img][/url][url=https://flic.kr/p/rUkgr8]Scene 1 test animation[/url] by [url=https://www.flickr.com/people/11965999@N05/]Chris 'Beard'[/url], on Flickr[/code]

find the image you should see it followed by two tags:
[code][/img][/url][/code]
and delete everything after those tags, but not the tags themselves.

I can see that you have copied the direct file location from your hard-drive. What you need to do is upload the image to an image hosting website such as Flickr or Brickshelf, then copy the image URL and put it in your signature between img tags, e.g.:

[.img][url=http://www.imagehostingsite.com/blabla/sig.png]www.imagehostingsite.com/blabla/sig.png[/url][./img]

(without the fullstops in the tags, which are only there so that this post won't try to display an image)

[quote=Pritchard Studios]Just click the handy, dandy "Share" button and grab that link. ;)
Or just copy and paste this.
[code]http://flic.kr/p/dm9GZn[/code][/quote]
That's not what doorway is looking for, they want to know how to get the link for the image to put in their signature.

To do that, you need to go to the [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/thedoorwaystudio/8104309919/sizes/m/in/photostream/]"all sizes" page[/url], right click the image and click "Copy image URL". Then you can put that in img tags in your signature.

[quote=Sméagol]You need to use the deep link for the image, not the Flickr viewing URL. The deep link in this instance is [url=http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7796097194_690a78e9a8_b_d.jpg]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7796097194_690a78e9a8_b_d.jpg[/url]. HOWEVER, this image is much, much larger than the maximum size for signature images, so you are not allowed to actually use this image as your forum signature.[/quote]
oh I thought that it would resize it for me I am sorry.

The problem is you are linking to the page with the photo, not the image itself.

The code you want will look like this:
[code][img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7796097194_2aacdfd5c1_k.jpg[/img][/code]

And it will result in this:
[img]http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8306/7796097194_2aacdfd5c1_k.jpg[/img]

However, if you put that in your signature, I'll be changing it to this: ;)
[img]http://www.bricksinmotion.com/sig.png[/img]

Hope that covers it all. :)

I think that image is to large for the sig area. I'm not sure (don't have a sig obviously), but I think I saw some place that sig pictures had to be a specific size or less. You might try removing that ending slash also.

That is is about all that I can think of at the moment. Hope you can get it working.

Edit: Heh, Sméagol has the answer all right. And yeah, thought the picture was to big.
