Look, I appreciate that you do care about how your comments affect other members. Just so we're clear, no one had any intention of banning you. Really, I may be the only mod who actively interacts with the forums on a member-to-member level daily. I suspected that you felt like I was getting on your back a lot, and maybe I was. I considered just letting other people call you out on the brash reviews you were giving so it wouldn't seem like I was picking on you unfairly, but I decided to do it myself because I didn't trust whoever took it up in my stead not to be overly harsh about it. Your heart is obviously in the right place, you just need to read over each post and think about how it would make you feel if you were in the recipients' shoes. This is a LEGO movie forum; there's no reason to get upset about it. We all make mistakes. Just make a conscious effort to focus on being more constructive with your criticism; point out what people did right in addition to what they did wrong. As an immediate change, I think most of your posts would come off as sounding less mean-spirited if you just removed the number scale and unimpressed emoticons, and focused on written critique.

Leave if you really feel like that's the right thing to do, but don't believe we want you to leave- we want you to improve, as a member and as a filmmaker. The site needs reviewers and people who are interested in seeing the medium evolve... we just need to keep in mind that too much negativity can have the opposite effect.

Don't bother giving "critique". I won't be around to answer to it. :|
