What I try to do is move the camera in such a way that it is not directly in line with your fingers, that way you can't get the reflection. . .(That is of course you can move the camera easily) Oh and if you're using a camera that you have to manually press a button on the camera to take a picture try to invest in a remote button you can use to take from a distance. . .Oh probably should have mentioned this as well, try adjusting your lighting, see if different angled light makes a difference :)

Now we're getting to the crux of the issue! The easiest solution would be if a stop motion program allowed you to remotely capture images with the Cybershot - off the top of my head I'm not aware of any though.

The best solution I would suggest at the moment would be to invest in a webcam so you can use remote capture with it. They're cheap (in comparison to full cameras) and will do the job. I recommend a Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 - with some of the newer webcams ont he market now, I suspect you'll be able to pick one up for relatively cheap.

The only large amount of bricks I have are grey ones. They are fairly new grey ones and in every shot you can see my fingers on them. The bricks are not too glossy. Please help, I have great pre-production skills and can't utilize them due to my lack of skills of doing the actual process properly. This is really frustrating. Thanks!
