I assume you're using a frame blending technique, yes? You've just got to watch the warping effect that is evident in the walk cycle test, and find some way to edit them out when you're making an actual film (I know this is a test so it doesn't matter too much in this instance). Other than that, they look pretty good!

The walk cycle looked really good, he didn't need to wiggle so much at the end, but if his body does, his hands/arms need to as well. The first one was a good pace for walking, but the second one was a little too fast. It's evident that you're adding frames in post, and so one difference is the blur on the hands, which is a little excessive on the last one.

And the flip is well....Yeah. :shifty:

The gun twirl is good, but the added frames messed it up. You may want to tweak the settings in your video editor to keep it from adding them, or at least fix it to simple double them. (Film at 15 FPS, render at 30 FPS.)

Not too bad for being so out of practice! :)

Hiya - I'm just getting back into animation and brickfilming (some of the older members will know me.) I haven't animated stop motion for over a year and haven't animated in any form since probably last August. I decided to go back to basics until I'm confident with my animations and have enough motivation and time to make a full length brickfilm (something I haven't been able to achieve yet, due to lack of confidence in my animation.) I always feel that my animation needs improvement, so here I have 2 tests - a simple gun twirl ( and a crappy backflip) and a walk cycle.

Please: Do NOT comment on any light flickers, set bumps, set design, etc... Just the animation or effects, please!

P.S: I haven't added sounds because they're just tests + I'm super lazy...

This one is a gun twirl and a backflip. I quite like the gun twirl, but I know the flip is bretty bad...

Also, if your internet can handle it, 720p is much better.

Thank you guys!
