You can get an older version (Elements 7-9) on eBay for about $30.

It doesn't do a good job of exporting at high resolution. 

I would suggest getting MonkeyJam, and making your animations using that.]]></description>

Okay. I'm using WLMM (dont judge!) for the animation (and its looking really good). But, when I export it, huge blocks are obvious among the black backdrop. I've also used MonkeyJam and used uncompressed, but Im still getting the same result. Should I just deal with it? :(]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[At the moment it could be any number of reasons, my best guess is that you are exporting to a low quality, but as Lechnology said more details are needed before we can give any real advice. . .Perhaps you could try exporting as a different file type? Also check what resolution the initial pictures are, this could give some indication as to what the next step to take should be :)]]></description>
