Sounds like a great idea! If I was you, i'd research what the trenches surroundings and no mans land looked like so you can make it look more authentic, so people can tell it's about WW1 without needing to look at the title.

Also what i'd do is look up different strategies and machines used in WW1 and implement those into the animation (For example the first tanks, the fact it was one of the last wars to use horses and when the armies tunnelled under each others trenches to try and blow them up with dynamite)

Here's a couple of links you might want to look at for background information :)

Ah! Don't you worry sir! I've done plenty of this! I've actually been to visit the trenches and I went to where the Battle Of The Somme took place! Very emotional and also very interesting! I love reading upon stuff like this however it makes me sound like an old man although Im only 16 haha!

But in terms of detail you're absolutely right, everything needs to be there to come across as authentic and I think I will take note on that! Thankyou very much!

Hope i've been of some help :) Best of luck!
On Youtube we see plenty of amazing WW2 videos yet we don't see many good World War One stop motion videos!

This is why in the summer I attempt to create a World War One stop motion animation.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and if finally used in my video, I will credit in the credits of the final film.
To get a roughy idea of what Im on about, I made a test WW1 video a while back so check it out:

As I said, any ideas would be greatly appreciated and I will not forget to add you in the credits if your idea is used!

Thanks for listening guys! XD
