Got the sound recorded for you, (37 Seconds worth!) I just need your e-mail address because I can't attach stuff using the forum e-mail. :(

EDIT: I forgot to say this, but the sound is me sweeping on carpet, I think it sounds fine, but if you want concrete or tile, you may have to put up with a little background noise.

Yea true, my horrible looped sound effect probably made me think that way.

But Pritchard, if you're still willing and it's not too much trouble, recording something would be great!

Here's a video:

It won't be annoying if you lower the volume on the sound clip.
It's like footstep sounds: Annoying if it's too loud, seems like something's missing if it's not there.

Nah, no thanks. I think I just won't use a sound effect, I'm not sure I even want a broom sound anymore. It seems it's not that important for the video, and a sound effect might even be annoying :p

(Having the video on YT for me to look at would help a lot in getting the right timing.)

Cross fading. Fade in and fade out the segment, then when you loop it, overlap them. The rest is trial and error until you get it to sound right.

Either that or find a broom and start recording.

http://www.freesound.org/people/klakmart/sounds/108276/

Isolate a segment the track and loop it, see if it works for you. Tweak as needed to smooth it out.

I'm looking for a continuous broom sweep sfx for at least 5 seconds.

I'm having a minifig walking with a broom in front of him, with little 1x1 round plates in front of him, moving them away. I can only find short sweeps.

Anyone know where I can find this sound? Or suggestions for an alternative are welcome too :)
