I don't really want to go for cartoonish style for a couple of reasons:
1. I don't want to have people think I'm copying JK
2. It's JK's thing
3. My story style is more serious and sometimes dark, so the movements need to match

I just want smooth and realistic movements that still have a "blocky" or jerky touch to it.

Yeah, I think if you want to animate at 24 fps you're going to need to add more frames and make the difference in each arm/leg move a little smaller.

Right now the animation is a bit cartoonish, so if you're going for that style, this speed may be just perfect.
That defeat's the purpose of this test though. I want to be able to animate at 24 fps, and if I keep changing back to 15, what's the point? Transitioning to 24 fps is trial and error.
Well, yeah, but I guess we would like to see what that looks like at 15 fps.
You should try playing that at 15 fps. Usually, when an animation at 24 fps is too fast, it turns out looking better at 15 fps.
I second this. I like the smoothness though!

Teh youtubez
I got some free time in between studies and decided to practice with 24 FPS and experiment with some "bouncier(?)" movements. I guess I'm in the phase where I'm trying to discover my personal style now. Please give me some feedback.
EDIT: Sorry 'bout the quality.
