You just took a shot at yourself, lol!
I don't know how you can laugh at someone who is humble enough to recognize his own faults (where as most people aren't).

Maybe...
Each member gets a "brick" each day they are on the website and if you think a member is being helpful or productive you can "donate" a lego brick to them. Then the person with the most "donated" "bricks" is the most useful giving them the title MVU (Most Valuable User).

This also creates problems of unmature members making false accounts to donate "bricks" to their other account.
Idk

Also this is very confusing and complicated...
You know what I don't like about these things? It allows people to show their approval/disapproval of something without explaining why. It's the lazy way to give criticism, and it doesn't do anything for the person who is getting upvoted or downvoted.

For example, if we had a like/dislike button, I could have just downvoted this thread because I think it's a stupid idea, but then no one knows why I think it's a stupid idea.

I personally would like the rep meter to come back, just to see all the reactions, but it would just be too much trouble. Like, the same exact people would complain (you know who you are) that "Oh, my rep meter is REALLY low because people don't like me!", and all that crap.

Would it be funny? Yes.
Should we do it? No.
Basically, the community in general here isn't mature enough for it to work effectively.
This. While some members are, we do get a lot of members who are going to abuse the power to anonymously say 'I dislike this'.
