Dragonvader, while it's nice that you want to contribute to the forums, please don't bump threads in which a question has been answered. Not bashing, just giving a reminder :) .

Do you use Sony Vegas? If so, shoot it while it still is semi-bright, then under (i think) color curves, select the night effect. Works wonders. Experiment a bit with how much light you need first though.
Frame averaging is your answer. Do you use a frame capture program?
I agree, frame averaging helps greatly (it works best when set around 10). In Helium Frog, you can go to the settings (I forget where they are; I haven't used it in a while), but I don't know how to do it in Monkey Jam. It also helps to have at least 3 lights on when filming a night scene, and just have the exposure turned down low.

Iv taken a few exaple frames, one raw and one iv fixed up in PS. so il let you have a look at those before i carry on.

|EXAMPLE 1|
#1 (RAW)

#1 (fixed)

As you can see the raw one has a large amount of noise and is quite distracting, but the fixed up one is blured and missing some color.

|EXAMPLE 2|

#2 (RAW)

#2 (fixed)

Note that the noise is not as bad as before, due to the added light.

So anyway i was hoping someone had done a night shot before and could give me some pointers about getting rid of this noise. Also i am shooting this with a QCP 9000 and im not interested in doing the night effect in post, i like the way the blue lights turned out and i don't think it would look as nice if it was done in post.
