I have to agree with Hazzat on this. If you are going to be doing stop motion for a while (you probably will), then you should definitely buy a program. AnimatorHD is good but it's around $80 and is made for HD cameras and DSLRs but it works with webcams to. You could also go with Stop Motion Pro. Not the cheapest but they are great for animation. The highest of them all would be Dragon Stop Motion but if you don't have an HD camera then it isn't necessary. Hope this helped! :)
Seriously, switch to Helium Frog. It doesn't do that annoying thing and has onion skin. SO much better! ;)
Alternatively, you could buy (shock horror!) a stop-motion program. If you're looking to further your craft it's definitely worth doing, and stop-motion programs don't tend to be that expensive.
Yeah. But I didn't like Helium Forg Either a lot, 'cause it's slow and it's not so trusty like Monkey Jam. Perhaps the only thing what's better is that not so big screen thing, and higher resolution menu and onion skin. But it's slow.
It's actually been really fast for me. I haven't had a problem since I started using it on our old computer. :P
Yeah, that sucks. So I recommend that you'll change to Helium Frog. It's maybe little slower, but it doesn't do that annoying thing. That's why I change myself. But waiting for my new camera and coming videos.
Yeah, I've been using that, but I have a lot of trouble with it not saving videos, so I was going to switch, but I guess not...
Get a bigger monitor.
LOL, that would have to be like one of those 55'' flatscreen TVs ;)

I've finally decided to use MonkeyJam for capturing, but when I do it in HD, the capture screen always goes way bigger than my monitor, so that I can't see everything I'm capturing. Is there any way to fix this?
