			<description><![CDATA[Could be as simple as contest hosters adding an [ACTIVE] or [ENDED] tag at the start of the topic, would save a lot of pissing about in the forum code, and this forum software in particular is a nasty peice of work.

Whenever I go to the "Contests & Festivals'" section, I go through and read (quite a few threads) to see which contests are active. Wouldn't it be easier if threads for contests had a special 'marking system' to show if the contest is still going on or has expired? Like a colored brick, perhaps?]]></description>
