they made a mac version of the 9000! We have the mac one. Works fine with us.

It has no manual controls though, so it's practically useless for brickfilming. You'll need either Bootcamp or VMWare, and a copy of Windows, in order for the QC9000 to work on a Mac. FuryBros, I'm not sure how it's "working fine" for you guys.
Its enough for our films. But, you dont get the manual focus or software stuff you get on a pc.
We want better so I decided to buy a laptop, when I earn enough money :P I also need it for school!
I thought about getting the C910.

@Flash Code: A desk lamp will work better because it's closer to your set, and is much brighter on a more focused area. Taping paper (printer paper works best) a decent distance (5 in./13 cm.) will diffuse the light, giving to a more natural look. Also, does the frame capture program you're using have a window/tab where you can adjust the camera's settings? If not, then you should open the webcam's software program, and adjust the controls from there. Make sure ALL your settings are on manual.
I'm using a capture software called "Stop motion animator". Just a free thing with onion skin e.t.c.

To answer your other question I just use the light that is suspended from my ceiling, should I use a desk lamp of some kind?
What do you have the resolution set at?

Use a desk lamp with diffusion paper on it (baking paper works good). If you're somewhere between the celing lamp and your camera, your movements will cause light flicker.

Grainy? Are you using capture software, or the webcam software?

Try turning the anit-flicker off. If every setting is on manual and you get light flicker, it must be a physical source of light. Are you using lamps? If so, what kind of bulbs?

I was advised that the Logitech Webcam Pro 9000 as a webcam for brick filming. So far I have been satisfied with it but there are two things that annoy me about it.

Firstly, the picture can be very grainy at times.
Secondly, I tend to get a lot of light flicker from it.

I'm just wondering if anyone can help me to get a better result out of my webcam. If you have any suggestions that would help.

It is probably worth noting that I have taken of the right light and adjusted the exposer and gain settings and I still get light flicker.
