Yes it is a capture program but I need a fire wire cable to connect my camera to my computer. I was thinking of buying one.....does anybody know how much they cost? It might help with resolution of the pictures.
It won't help with the resolution of your pictures if they look that way when you take them off your camera. Try adding more light to your scenes. And what type of camera do you have?

A fire wire is definitely worth buying. My dad is going to buy one hopefully to convert a our videos to the computer. I think you can possibly get one for $10. Not sure though.

Maybe there are settings in iStopmotion 2 where you have to create a project and set the picture resolution BEFORE you import your pictures. The resolution might be set lower than your original picture res. Why can't you just shoot the movie using iStopmotion 2...I think it's a capture program.

I seriously need some help on this. Whenever I take the pictures for a Brickfilm, they come out in SUPER good quality on my camera, but when I import them from my camera into iStopMotion 2, the pictures are kind of low quality. YouTube can help this a little bit with their new video editor but I don't really want to use that all the time. Any help?
