Now have you tried playing the video again, Onion.  Because "scrubbing through" and pressing 0 on the video both renders so if you played the it again, it shouldn't play as slow.]]></description>

I've recently purchased the Adobe Production Premium CS5.5 package, but am having problems with After Effects. For some reason when I play it goes at extremely slow speeds, that are unworkable with. So if anybody knows of an answer to this problem, I'd love to hear it, and if not, can somebody answer me these questions instead?

1. Might it be because of my Mac? 
2. For people who use CS5.5 or CS5 - what Mac do you use?
3. Do you usually need to render it before playing clip?
4. Does the Cache have anything to do with it?
