For a dolly rig, put Sean's cradle on a small plate or baseplate, then just slide it on the table. For panning, just put a rotating lego element underneath the cradle. It's simple, saves lego, and it's what I do.

OKAY! Use Sean's cradle THEN make a pan rig by putting down a bunch of smooth tiles in a line. Make sure the're big enough for the cradle itself. Then, when your happy, put 1X? around the smooth tiles so it's like a letterbox with bricks on the outside and tiles in the middle. :)

Yeah, me too. I built my own cradle at first. It wasn't working out too good, so I was thinking about copying 0ld Scratch's cradle, but I decided to just copy his pivot system instead. It works good for panning and camera angles. Mine has a plate on the bottom that acts as a base so it can be moved to other camera moving/postioning rigs.

I have seen many topics on camera rigs for the 9000, but they never really have any success in supplying people with ideas so I made this so people would actually give some advice or tutorials for making the rigs. I'm sorry if there already is a topic for this where people actually got somewhere with it and please give the link if their is another topic like so. I've already seem Sean's tutorial so please don't mention it.:P :P
