I have the voice actors for 3, still looking for a 4th, and if I seem to find someone else willing to join, then I am willing to raise the characters list. Although I have all these characters, the main focus will be on the two, but every episode will include some of the others.

That's the way you want to go! 3 or more characters! Yeah! I'm doing a "fantastic foursome"(I came up with that) series myself. You can do 3 characters, 4 characters, or even 5 characters if you want. I would adivise against 6 or over, because of the trouble getting enough voice actors that will be willing to make the commitment to do a series. You can even throw in a mute animal if you want another character.

OK, well the best thing to do for voice actors is go to the Audio thread and post a casting call. Check out some others there first, usually you can get a vague idea of what's needed, i.e pictures, test-lines, info on characters, etc. As far as popularity goes, the most important thing is to make it good. The better it is the better the feedback is, the more likely people will like it/favour it, and so on and so on, you get the gist of it. And of course, it's also a combination of luck. Just remember - popularity isn't the most important thing, so don't worry yourself, the greatest gratification is the feedback from your peers.

Thank you for the feedback, and yes I understand COMPLETELY what you are saying, the typical dynamic duo...way overdone. I want this to kinda stray from that. but still be enjoyable to watch and I want people to find it refreshing not.."Here is another So-and-So wanna be" Another thing, getting voices, In my last film I did all the voices, but I want to have diversity now, I want you to be able to close your eyes, and still distinguish the characters. Thank you for the grammar compliment, my mom was an English major, so go figure haha. Do you have any idea how I would be able to get a show like this popular? Without having to incorporate major franchises? Such as Star Wars or Batman. Now my concept for the two's chemistry would be.. One hates the other, while the hated one sees the two as the best of friends, but still allowing their chemistry to flow smoothly.

OK, well for a start, do not go down the route of the stereotypical dynamic duos. They are way overdone and are often the subject of jokes throughout the community, so that's a no-go. As far as making it original goes, write a good script. At the beginning the whole point of dynamic duos were their chemistry, complimented with some witty banter and generally well written dialogue. Admittedly that's a fairly big expectation, especially when your characters are plastic LEGO men, but your grammar seems reason enough to believe that your vocabulary is wide enough to be able to do so. Good luck anyway.

I have an idea for an original series. It will Star 2 main characters Jordan and Skyler, and will just consist of different adventures that take place in their home, and or at work. I kind of got the inspiration from "Clerks the animated series" Very good show, you should youtube it. The episodes would range from all types of themes and tales, and would more then likely be exaggerated and extreme. I have the first script in editing as we speak. Just let me know any tips for creating original series, and how I can get something that isn't a bandwagon franchise popular.
