I'm have to do a special effect for Tybalt Vs. Romeo, and last few times I've tried using detonatinfilms' explosion stock footage, I get it to end up sort of transparent from the chroma key in Vegas.

Does anyone know haow to prevent this? Would I have to chroma key the original effect, then put another chroma key of it with just the Alpha channel underlayed?
