You could get ACTION ESSENTIALS 2 those are very realistic if you don't overdose them in the video :D you don't need to have a greenscreen or anything for Action Essentials 2.

OR

There is this Particle Illusion 3.0 software that I also use, there are many effects that can be done with it, but the problem is it's way more cartoony so if you're making a Live Action film then I'd recommend ya Action Essentials 2.

P.S. Both of these work in XP as I happen to own XP and I had no problem when adding those special effects to my footage.

His question is about special effects, which is why I put it here.

I don't think you quite understand how detonationfilms works, LegoPeoples. You download the clip you want, then use chroma keying (which is like greenscreening, but with any colour) to remove the black. To do this, you'll need a program that can chroma key, so check the Free Software List.

Hello world! Although I am a brickfilmer, I was thinking of making a real film not with bricks. I don't think it would go into theatres or anything but I would like to do it for fun. So I was thinking of either doing comedy (appropriate for children) or if not comedy then maybe action or adventure. The only problem with action is that I have to add effects to the film. I would probably get the effects from www.Detonationfilms.com but I have windows XP and I don't think Detonationfilms works with XP. So if anyone has any ideas for a movie, or ways to add effects for XP, please reply!
