I tried that too, still has the ghost. I believe Sony Vegas is merging the frames but I don't know how to stop it. B/
In fact, I keep the "ghost" thing because it makes each pic transition smoother, making the video smoother. About the writing, don't use helium frog. I just take pics and import them to Sony Vegas. Then I put the pics into the timeline, and they automatically squish down to 15fps because of the setting I did, and then you can view it right then and there to see how the footage came out (it takes a few runs to get the lag to stop). Then, when you render, it places the ghost, and you have a pro-looking vid. Presto.
I use helium frog because it has onion skining and you can review the last photo. I might just use the Logitech frame capture software. Thanks for the help :)

The ghost frame is because Vegas set the movie FPS to 24, when it was shot in 15fps. To change this simply swap it to 15 or your films fps. I'm personally not sure about the Black bar text, but I'm sure users with Vegas know how to get rid of it.

I recently got Sony Vegas Pro 9 and I have been having 2 problems. The first is when I import the animation videos captured from helium frog, under the video is a black bar saying LEAD MCMP/MJEPG Decoder (2.0) Eval It also shows this on the movie after exporting it. The other problem is after exporting the movie there is a ghost like thing after the last frame image. It looks kind of like onion skin after you have moved some thing in the frame.
If any one has any suggestions to help me please post a comment. Thanks :)

Here is photos of the problems.
