Cute little short. I like how the mom isn't gonna take any crap from that dude and tells him off. Pretty convincing animation. Beautiful colors in the shot at 0:08, compared to too dark 0:00-0:04. I would've liked to have heard a metal clanking sound when the broom goes in the trash can. Really liked the concrete pouring animation and sound effects.

Too bad the kid's got rubbish Jawa legs, makes kicking a soccer ball pretty difficult. :)

I thought the one worker was going to clobber the other guy with his shovel with the shovel held high over his head at
0:10. Might've looked better to have him drag the shovel low and behind him.

I'm not a fan of using female voices lowered to simulate a man's voice, it obviously doesn't sound right (but an okay technique to use in a pinch, I suppose.) I've used a falsetto of my voice for female characters before, and that REALLY didn't work.

Pretty good. Apart from the aforementioned light flicker and the voicework (I was honestly expecting worse...it wasn't bad at all!) the animation was a bit choppy in places. A nice little one liner film. Keep it up!

Cheers!

I made this a while ago (in November) for a entry in the TropJr competition. I didnt have my new mic back then so the voices are poor, and there is also alot of reflective lightflicker

It got shortlisted but didnt make it into the finals.
