Here's how I do it in Vegas 4...

Select "Default template (uncompressed)", click the "Custom" button, go to the "Video" tab and set your settings - including compression method, which should be something like DivX, same for the "Audio" tab, click OK, click Save.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Okay, I have a video which I want to render in HD. When it's
done with rendering, I want to see it. But with VLC, Quicktime and WMP
the screen stays black. 
Anybody knows what's up?

EDIT: When I try to open an AVI in VirtualDub it says "MP42 not found, codec not installed".
Where can i find the codec?]]></content>
