I should get that, because every time I export a 5 second film on monkeyjam, the file size is insanely big.

With RealProducer, a 1 minute footage can be compressed down to 1 MB or less. Your avi is 7 MB, it doesn't even last a second. If brickshelf is your way to go, then either start donating for the guy's bandwidth or start compressing like old school.

Damn Youtube, making everyone forget about the days of competitive compression ratio.

I didn't think of looping it on my editor, so whatever. :P

I didn't know about what's happened in the past. sorry about that. I'll upload it to youtube tomorrow or something if it really matters this much.
Brickshelf allows you to download it, and when you download it you can loop it. On YouTube you can't loop it, you'd have to be replaying it again and again. Also, on YouTube it'd pretty much end so fast you wouldn't see anything due to it being short.
And what's wrong with looping it manually on your editor before exporting? Let it loop for 5 seconds.

Brickshelf is an image site, run by one guy out his own pocket and any money received in donation. Heavy traffic from people who upload large videos have caused it to go offline several times in the past. You're not helping by putting up an avi. Try compressing with RealProducer or something, keeps it small in the kilobytes and still maintain it's quality.

Lamplight: Let him answer that, then.

Again, what's wrong with looping it in your editor?

Also, this isn't the finished product. I'm still working on it, I posted my rough draft to see if it looks like a floating table. :P

First off, why brickshelf.com? Nothing wrong in uploading test on Youtube. There's plenty of crap on Youtube, why clog a image-specific donation-relying website like brickshelf with large videos? FYI, you can always upload to Youtube as unlisted.

You should also work on smoothing out the masking. You can tell where the edges are.
